FARMING FUN...HOW DOES THE JOHN DEERE GATOR 825I DO IN THE SNOW??

What happens here

The farmer identifies an issue with his electric poly-fence, which has sagged significantly under the weight of the accumulated snow. He explains that the fence itself is not broken, but the heavy snow load has caused it to lay on the ground. He then walks along the fence line, manually shaking off the snow to allow the fence to spring back to its upright position.

Tools and materials

  • Electric Poly-Fence — Containment for animals, prone to collapsing under heavy snow
  • Gloves — Protecting hands from cold and snow while working on the fence

[Music] so we've got a problem here guys we gotta take care of this right away so what I didn't think about with this electric polyphen said we put up a couple months ago I didn't ever think about snow load being on it man look at this fence and just tore it up well it didn't it didn't break it but it's laying down on its side I got to shake it loose so we'll turn the power off and shake it loose well you don't know dawg no doubt so folks here in the South here in North Carolina we get really really heavy snows and this is what you get with a heavy snow it just kind of attaches itself to everything but all we had to do is just shake that off and we're good to go let's go around on the other side here it's all the way laying on the ground when I flew the drone over this morning to check the farm out I saw it laying on the ground let's go over there so if you look up the hill right here right there is the fence it's just laying on the ground I'll go over here and shake it off so I guess this is something good to know if you're considering using some of this Polly fence wire the it doesn't quite hold up too good to the heavy snow might have even broken a post I don't know
