FAILING house foundation 1/2 4 k video

What happens here

As the excavation deepens, the true extent of the problem becomes clear. The video shows significant cracks in the concrete block foundation wall in multiple locations. More critically, water is observed actively bubbling up and pouring out from underneath the lowest part of the foundation, indicating a substantial water intrusion issue originating from below ground. The excavated soil is extremely muddy and saturated, revealing that the water is not just surface runoff. The narrator discusses how this contradicts an earlier explanation given to the homeowners (that the issues were due to 'too much backfill' during construction) and suggests the presence of either 'perched water' (trapped groundwater) or, more likely, a natural spring beneath the house.

Goal: Identify the full extent of foundation damage and the source of water intrusion.

contractor and got their opinion got his opinion on it and what he wanted to do and what I wanted to do are not even close to being the same beater dry as a bone I get my guys new boots every season and ask him to put them to the test and these were Philadelphia's by Keene and he must really like them but now they take a look at this wet mud coming out this is the kind of stuff that we are working with and you're gonna see just how extensive this damage is just a minute you can see here especially in through this area and up through here hearts been pushed in and the foundation guys that the homeowners were talking to said more than likely what happened is when they were back filling all this when they were building the house they packed too much up along here and that's what caused this to start getting pushed in and you can see here it's uh it's pretty bad so they're also saying that more than likely what's going on is the count is the water is just sitting in all of these blocks and then draining out in some areas with with the cracks and whatnot so now this is a couple days after we've excavated and if you look right there you can still see water coming through that foundation wall that's one of two things that's perched water which means it's trapped and then it's just migrating out from underneath the foundation wall or more likely the house was actually built on top of a spring and that water's going to continue to pour forth that tells me that none of this really looks like an issue from backfilling I don't see individual blocks broken I don't see them cracked where if during the backfilling process they shoved a big rock against it or something like that cracked the foundation what I see is a completely different problem occurring but the guy that does and is ending up going to do the repair doesn't see the same problem I see all right so we're moving on in the next stage of the project here gonna be a couple of days before this foundation gets sorted out so what we're
