15 New Power tools coming out from Makita in 2020 that haven't been seen yet. 4k video

oh all right today guys we're going to be looking at the newest team gear and equipment coming at you from Makita and some of its so new that even the guys doing the demonstrations haven't seen it before this video there you go folks it took less than five seconds to be able to punch a hole through quarter-inch steel that's pretty amazing you will be able to punch holes up through 9/16 inch diameter with one of these when is this coming out the first time for 2020 and this late great for fab jobs isn't it great for fab shops great for installers we heard an example this morning installation company we're needing to install something in there I beams up in the rafters and being able to take this so this is actually meant to be used in two ways you can get the optional platform which is an optional accessory otherwise it's meant to go with you wherever you need to drill holes rather than bringing your steel to the tool bring your tool up there or wherever you happen to be and punch holes in and that's new by Makita coming out when 2020 2020 you know I hear the craziest thing you guys some of the tools that we're gonna be seeing today not even the guys from Maketu like Matthew here you haven't even seen this one yet have you I've seen pictures have seen specs but walk me through this thing so this is Nikita's new 18 volt x2 9 inch power cutter takes to 18 volt battery so you're running this asset 36 volt tool and your little LED lights on the front two-stage safety trigger so you have to have your button to press before you can actually engage the trigger battery fuel gauges on the front this also features our it our active feedback technology system meaning that if this wheel were to bind up prevent any injury to the operator or to the tool as well full water feed system on the side she can cut wet and or dry with us it has a soft start motor so when I started up here take a couple of seconds to reach full speed when I take my finger off the trigger the electric brake will come in and I bring that blade to a stop in the three or four seconds so Romanick what's the first thing we're gonna be looking at 21 is still dead lawnmowers now you know from our previously at an 18 inch completely changed these are actually x4 if you know our prior climb you know if lxt and x2 these actually have four battery base for extended runtime so what does that mean the user runs two batteries dies out source to the other two for extended runtime what is the runtime though what is extended runtime you know almost an acre acre cut with four bed have you ever timed it though not from the time okay the thing about this technology has automatic works right so what that means is it ramps up its work and down this work based on the load that it's under right good so differential if you're cutting 5-inch st. Augustine is completely different in being in California in cutting two inch baby okay so yeah so that's a pretty cool technology so as you're getting into heavier grass it's gonna amp it up it's gonna it's like one of those motors that goes from eight cylinders drops down to four back highway self-propelled so we have two versions this should you look out here is not self-fulfilled but this version our XML 0 8 is self-propelled same as the gas model adjustable as far as the walk-behind speed that you're going with same x4 same automatic torque drive technology another great feature we don't have in our previous mower this is actually three and one so not only does it bag it only does it motor but this one has side discharge which we haven't had at makita this mower is awesome ok so I want to jump in here real quick and then we're gonna move on ok one thing that miquita does that nobody else does is one battery runs everything there is no chain I mean that is one of those things that I really love oh no it's a different platform different platform different platform and that is kind of annoying to be honest with you and you guys don't do that which is pretty cute and what you'll see my are contenders as they develop new products everything's always a bigger bet that's how we're going to get more power on not here Makita we engineer motors re-engineer our system with same 80 volt battery platform for 27 what's that this is Nikita's 21 gauge rebar tire takes 21 gauge steel or galvanized wire feeds through the rollers on the front and to the end you've got your power button so it's on or off and then two different modes either single time or sequential time there so it's sequential time you pull down the trigger and just hook it around your rebar and then tie automatic finally now like what you're looking at is X are you 18 this is a one kilowatt 30 cc power of googling strange 30 input into 30 CC's again 30 CC's again so that is basically your most powerful gas transformer now in a cordless system so that's about one horsepower 30 species x2 so this is this is coming next year 2020 so all the parts we have here on the floor you'll have a definite release date altimeter next generation so how it is this compare that change from last year's model guys so if you think my last year's model which had excellent power this was the XR uo9 yeah that was about 0.55 killer okay double the power secondaries also running the 17-inch bedding swap what were you get last year 1500 up everything up everything so this is literally taking a gas high power 30cc shrink trimmer and making it Corvis so guys this is makitas new dedicated grease gun has Makita had a grease gun before we've carried a grease attachment that you can use the drills and impacts and things like that but this is our first dedicated dedicated grease gun okay really excited you have two different speed modes here you've got your full knock on features here as well variable speed trigger with a lock-on ability as well leading balance on the front LED lights as well and multiple methods of filling whether you're filling in bulk with your filament pool from a reservoir or of course whether you're just put in a standard you can use it as a tube ah okay that's I love how I love the options on the bulk fill so are you from Canada yeah is that why you say my boat like I say a boat I say a boat I say I spell all my words with those and use the gays serve casserole up in Canada serve with casserole casserole casserole yeah sure we go I mean is I didn't know if that was just a Minnesota thing or if that was a Canadian thing no that's a Canadian thing that is pretty cool blends it out first quarter 2020 you can expect to see a boat 20 about first quarter Tony 2020 we're looking at a new combo here new nail gun and a new air compressor by Makita right absolutely first off on the nail gun it's makita's brand new pneumatic 18 gauge brad nailer shoots from 5/8 to 2-inch Brad nails as a whole host of features of what you expected to use on when he to AF 5 or 5 n because this is its replacement features it also has a couple other features you guys might a peach appreciate like a depth of Drive dial and a quick clear feature as well and and then so this one is coming out when and then your new air compressor which is kind of insanely quiet holy that's how I apply it I can talk really soft because it's only 58 decibels this is our Mac 100 Q it's joined by into two brothers a two gallon unit and a three gallon unit as you can see by the looks of them they all look alike it's featuring makita's roll cage design fully covered laughs horsepower one horsepower one point five horsepower all three units in her quiet series are 60 decibels and below when do they come out these are coming out spring 2020 Samantha's polishing up on his specs on this one have you even seen this one before no again first time in my hands this shows fun because first opportunity I sometimes get yeah so this is really light and this is a chipper it is a smaller compact just a simple lightweight SDS plus chipping hammer standard STS bits one touch shank on the front you are able to fully adjust that bit around your 360 degree plane you adjust the orientation of the bit to the job as opposed to having to adjust yourself okay uh-huh variable speed dial on the back you have your independent suspension for the motor housing here to absorb any vibration it does have our active hybrid anti vibration technology system in it which is actively deadly vibration right from the source when is this coming out this will be the first half of 2020 first half of 2020 new from Makita what do you actually consider it it is chop saw full 14-inch this is an industrial grade Eddy duty tool it is meant to take the place of electric saws on the jobsite it moves up to that factor it's got to 18 volt battery erisa 36 build tool this also has smart technologies such that the sauce starts to bog down it will actually increase speed increased work to make sure it can go through that full 14 inch bracelet blade this one also has your movies functionality and research has been out for a while by Makita but I think this is pretty handy so it's worth showing again absolutely it's been over about a year and a half got some great reviews got a good solid winter force and one that really extends the whole capabilities there we go guys alright Matthew what are we looking at right here well stem showcasing here is Nikita's advantage when it comes to motor design Nikita started as a motor company and that's always been its strengths rather than buying a motor off the shelf from a different manufacturer and making that tool what were able to with that motor we decide what we want to do what kind of tool we want what kind of size we want and then build the motor to suit that exact words so we've got several different examples of motors here all of which really tight certain tenets of motorcyle bats performance design and durability so each one of these has a very very unique application whether it is something like 38 millimeter motor so it's a nice compact design to reduce size for decently we have to something like 52 millimeter motor and something brand new this is our 120 millimeter motor that came here specifically a new lineup and so this is that you've exploded one of your battery chargers why Chargers as well just to see the design technology that goes into it again designs everything so you guys consider how you charge the battery to be as important as how you design the battery itself necessarily abuse buts misuse and everything's from time to time the performance and then the limits your efficiencies and everything on the jobsite as well see it's a big circle and all these different elements the tool designed the battery designed the charger designed the motor design the ergonomics all of these are very very essential elements and we take all of those into consideration when we designed any to it so here's another one just coming out Matthew brand-new in Canada will actually be launching this in the first quarter over here this is the DK p18130 in a quarter inch brushless planer it's modeled after our premium electric planer it's got all the features all the different bells and whistles to put rest at the back three different champion groups on the front the ability to do rapid cuts or shift laps on the side it's a dual chip ejection and full range of adjustability on the front as well they asked and you guys delivered is that what happened that's what happened they asked we delivered they've been asking for years and eventually we always deliver so this is Nikita's newest radio charger combination builds on the success with that we've had with our radios for years and years really robust design great sound and radio really really popular on the job site the one request of course is adding the charger will run we get this big boy over here off either one or two batteries the second battery will simply be for additional runtime it also comes with the cord already adjusted and Stanley gets how much lumens this sucker produces five thousand ten thousand lumens there's no other area light on the market that has this kind lumens yeah it's ten thousand lumens and then finally also launching in the January time frame is a DML 812 now this is going to be our new spotlight as you can see here very nice form factor you can you can walk on this side right here has an integrated hook system right here so you cannot hang it on a rafter or anywhere you need to and this is going to have three modes so if I shine it up here I don't know if you guys can see the vent system right there this has the capability of shining up to 700 yards in a beam so we're gonna have two settings in spotlight mode we're also going to have a flood mode as well and then if I keep the bun pressed right here we're going to have our strobe mode used for signaling yep so this will be introduced in the January time frame as well so brand-new never never seen before coming out you guys just hit the docks less than a week ago you are getting the very first look at some of the newest gear tools and equipment coming at you from Makita I said alright you guys so we've got even we're back with Roman 8 and we've got even more new more honest new products one of the things I learned off-camera was that you guys have the most cordless chain saws of any yes company out there most complete portfolio from the top handle to over handle underneath a 32 CC gas class range we have it so the top panel you guys I was actually really excited I wanted to see a top handle battery-powered saw forever because guys are climbing up to the top of the tree they're yanking yanking yankin where they can just cut you know they don't need a whole lot of you know anything they just need to make them those particular cuts for you guys were the very first to the market was that work absolutely so the great thing about our new x2 top handle at CU zero eight zero nine is not only do you have its benefits of battery it's actually 25% faster than gas which is a little too bad is that astonishing to people there that's 25% faster in the leading gas money wait a minute life it cuts 25% faster than the leading gas model okay do you actually have a demonstration so this chainsaw has two power modes standard mode and then high torque which delivers a lot more power let me show you I'm gonna go to [Music] so now I'm in high-torque going back to mode 1 so mode 1 will give you the longest runtime high-torque mode of course will deliver more power this is too much fun you guys this is a really nice chance alright you
