Install New T&P Valve

What happens here

Before installing the new valve, ensure the opening on the water heater is clean of any debris. Hand-thread the new T&P valve into the water heater's opening, rotating clockwise. Once hand-tight, use an adjustable wrench or the Milwaukee pipe wrench to tighten the valve further until it is secure and properly aligned. Ensure the discharge port of the T&P valve is facing downward. The video notes that a pipe wrench is typically used for removal but an adjustable wrench or similar tool can be sufficient for tightening the new valve.
