DIY Tiny Sauna

What happens here

Fiberglass insulation batts, specifically R-15+ from Johns Manville (JM) brand, are carefully installed between the wall studs to provide thermal insulation. Following the insulation, a clear plastic vapor barrier is stapled over the insulation and studs, creating a continuous seal to prevent moisture from penetrating the wall cavity. Finally, a layer of reflective foil insulation (a bubble foil type product) is stapled over the plastic vapor barrier and wall studs, serving as a radiant barrier to further enhance heat retention and energy efficiency within the sauna.

Goal: Insulate the sauna walls and install vapor barriers for heat retention and moisture control
