What happens here
Install the stained and sealed shelves into the vertical uprights. Use pocket hole screws to secure them from the back, ensuring a clean, floating appearance. For the bench area, create a custom cushion. Use a piece of plywood cut to size as the base. Wrap 5-inch thick foam with a linen fabric, pulling the fabric super tight and folding about an inch over the plywood edge before stapling it securely with an upholstery staple gun. Finally, install the shaker-style drawer faces onto the drawer boxes. To achieve perfect, even gaps around the drawer faces, use playing cards as spacers. Mark the drill holes for the drawer pulls, secure the drawer face to the drawer box with screws, then remove the playing cards. After installing the drawer pulls, carefully remove the drawer box to replace the temporary screws with the permanent hardware screws, drilling out any pilot holes with a 1/8 inch drill bit.
Goal: Complete the final assembly of shelves, cushion, and drawer faces
