Position the assembled base cabinet boxes on top of the installed 2x4 toe kick frames. Secure the base cabinets to both the wall studs and the toe kicks using appropriate fasteners. Because walls are rarely perfectly straight, use a level and wood wedges (shims) to level all cabinets during installation.
