Concrete Truck Failure! This Nearly cost them the Job!
What happens here
Mark the boundaries of the concrete pour with string lines and wooden stakes. The string lines will guide the placement of the forms and ensure straight edges. Use a sledgehammer to drive wooden stakes into the ground to secure the forms. Next, use a laser level, like the Topcon RL-H4C, to establish and verify the desired elevation and slope for the concrete slab. This ensures proper drainage away from the building. These measurements are transferred to a measuring rod to ensure forms are set at the correct height.
Goal: Precisely mark the pour area and establish correct elevations.
