Prepare the Pressure Washer

What happens here

With ladders in place, prepare the pressure washer. Connect the pressure washer to a water source and an electrical outlet (for electric models) or fill with fuel (for gas models). Attach the appropriate nozzle to the pressure washer wand. For most house siding and general cleaning, a 25-degree (green) or 40-degree (white) nozzle is recommended. For stubborn stains or higher areas, a rotating turbo nozzle might be used, but always test in an inconspicuous area first. If using detergent, fill the detergent tank or attach the detergent siphon hose according to the pressure washer's instructions.
