Butchering chickens..THIS AIN'T OUR FIRST TIME...watch and learn!
What happens here
To dispatch a chicken, place it head-down into a killing cone with its breast facing out. While holding the chicken's head, quickly and firmly dislocate the neck at the joint between the head and neck. The killing cone helps contain the bird's post-mortem spasms, preventing unnecessary flapping and bruising. This method is quick, simple, and considered humane. After dispatch, the chicken remains in the cone to bleed out.
Goal: Humanely dispatch the chicken
