What happens here

All seams, gaps, and edges of the shiplap and trim are carefully caulked to create a flawless, seamless appearance. A damp rag is used immediately after applying caulk to smooth the bead and clean up any excess. Once the caulk is dry, surrounding walls and the TV are masked off with painter's tape and plastic sheeting to protect them from overspray. The entire media console structure is then spray painted with white paint, ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish. After the initial coat, a light sanding is recommended, followed by a final coat of paint.

Goal: Caulk all seams and gaps, mask off surrounding areas, and spray paint the entire media console structure for a uniform, finished look.

finished surface and then we're gonna caulk it [Music] make sure you have a damp rag it'll make it a lot smoother to get a cleaner seam [Music] all right folks start painting uh the wall paint is simply white from benjamin moore i've used this big container usually i'm a fan of the small one because there's less runoffs or anything but i've used the big one on the last ship lab for the dining room dinette buffet thing i'm gonna start mixing diluting it and we'll start putting a couple coats out [Music] so i keep it real with you guys i don't try to sugarcoat anything if i make mistakes i want to be authentic and show that everybody makes mistakes so i have some runoff right here the paint it's really hard to gauge it when the wall paint is white and you don't have the best lighting up in the ceiling so to kind of gauge where you know how much you're putting down it happens no big deal i'm going to let it sit and cure overnight tomorrow i'll give it a light sand and then shoot it with a fine finish sprayer
