Finally, replace the P-trap assembly that was removed earlier by ensuring all connections are properly aligned and hand-tightening the slip nuts. Use channel lock pliers or an adjustable wrench to give a final snug turn to all P-trap connections, ensuring they are leak-free. Double-check all connections once more for any signs of dripping or seepage.
