Drain Residual Water from Sink Faucets

What happens here

With the main water supply off, open the hot and cold water faucets on the sink to drain any remaining water from the lines. This relieves pressure and prevents water from spilling when the valves are removed. Allow the water to completely stop flowing before proceeding.

Goal: Relieve water pressure and drain pipes before working on them.
