Cut Off Old PEX Shutoff Valves

What happens here

Using a PEX cutter, such as a RIDGID PC-1250, cut the old PEX shutoff valves off the PEX pipe. Position the cutter as far back as possible on the PEX pipe to ensure you have enough remaining pipe (ideally at least 2 inches, as recommended by manufacturers like Uponor) for the new fitting. Repeat this for both hot and cold PEX pipes.

Goal: Remove the old PEX shutoff valves while preserving enough PEX pipe for new connections.
