Hollow the Drawer and Reassemble

What happens here

Take the solid inner block that will become the drawer. Make cuts to hollow out its interior, creating the storage space of the drawer. Once hollowed, take the removed core (waste) and glue it back into the outer drawer sleeve. Apply wood glue to the contact surfaces and use clamps to hold the pieces tightly together (4:40-4:54). This step creates the sliding drawer unit.

Goal: Hollow out the inner drawer block and then reassemble the pieces, gluing the inner core back into the drawer sleeve to form the complete drawer unit.
