Apply Finish and Decorate

What happens here

Apply a generous amount of wood finish, such as salad bowl finish or a similar food-safe oil, using a clean cloth (7:46-7:50). Rub the finish into all surfaces of the wood, allowing it to penetrate. Wipe off any excess after a few minutes (7:51-7:59). Let the finish cure completely according to product instructions, potentially applying multiple coats for added durability and depth of color. Once dry, place your chosen small artificial plant into the designated hole and arrange decorative pebbles around its base (7:59-8:19) to complete the desk organizer.

Goal: Apply a protective and enhancing oil finish to the entire organizer, then add the plant and decorative pebbles.
