Remove Old Garbage Disposal Unit

What happens here

With the plumbing and electrical disconnected, support the disposal unit with one hand. Use a specialized garbage disposal wrench (or a large screwdriver/pipe wrench if not available) to twist the disposal unit off the mounting ring. The unit will detach. Then, remove the remaining mounting ring components and the sink flange from the sink opening.

Goal: Remove the old garbage disposal unit by rotating it off the mounting ring and detaching the remaining sink flange components.
