Clean Sink Opening and Install New Flange

What happens here

Clean any old plumber's putty or debris from around the sink opening. Apply a fresh bead of plumber's putty around the rim of the new sink flange. Insert the new flange into the sink opening from above. From below, install the rubber gasket, fiber gasket, and mounting ring, tightening the screws evenly to secure the flange to the sink. Wipe away any excess plumber's putty that squeezes out.

Goal: Clean the sink opening thoroughly and install the new sink flange and mounting assembly for the new disposal.
