A Tree dropped on the Kubota

all right so here's the situation we got my cabin here and the tree is basically over the top of it and that's not our tree so we're on the neighbor's property but i got permission from them to do it i mean they're older folk so they were happy to not have that liability so we're going to try to get this to go right there all right this is just a test push this is just to see i want to get a little bit trying to push as i get up to it i'm going to be putting it i'm lowering my boom because i don't want this if you look down low i don't know if you can see down low zach's got that in frame but i don't want this to uh kick up and into me so i keep lowering the boom down so i can control that descent what do you think is that going down pretty good i think we just limit because we're going to use that for the corners boy we didn't we didn't lose any of it it's almost like we had a game plan and it worked [Applause] how'd that look zach that's really good did you expect it to come down like that no i expected it to like get about halfway and then elsa and it gave up in the middle or something and just come snapping right off come come tumbling down yeah that's the beauty we left the stump on so we use the stump as our leverage and we're in sandy soils uh so we're gonna actually try to come in here and push this next one down yeah uh yep you're right there you see something kind of odd frank frankie grabbed battery all by himself i didn't have to say hey breaking will you go we got to test out a battery but the blades all fall off ah okay all right so if i come in this way i can get that one pushed down and maybe even the next one green means go green means go hey frankie watch out i don't want to bump the tree while you're zapping it there you go now those guys can get at it now frankie wants me to push this one straight down into the woods now she's going to want to angle to my left so i'm going to push it to the right a pitch still got one more tree to go don't i [Music] okay that one is down but i'm not going to knock this tree on zach but we'll get that one to go that way and we're going to then now try to get to this last tree i'm also trying not to wreck my grass i just planted all that grass right there all right here we go last tree i don't know if this one's gonna push as nice but yep topsy turvy topsy turvy i seen her coming i seen her coming that's we're going to test our fops falling object protection system that's where we're testing it there that was that wasn't an accident no i'm kidding that was an accident i said we were actually frankie never talking about that as an opera as a possibility so not the end of the world though and it's down my job is done now we got to limb em and i gotta get the heck out of here i bring the camera over we'll show them what happened when we drop the tree on the skinny a little bit of denting denting where well scratches those scratches is different from denting what's it use scratches [Music] yeah that was like the first i think battery saw stan ever got i think no no milwaukee's the first ones [Music] we switched from the skinny to the mini loader just because i planted grass seed and i don't want it all tore up and these logs are these trees that we just pushed over and cut up are actually going to be reused on my cabin as long siding [Music] these trees will get notched then coated with a sealant and become the corner post for the upper cabin [Music] the cast mini loader that i bought is not a very big machine and i thought that was going to limit its capabilities but everything we've ever thrown at it it's been able to handle like a champ [Music] so [Music] i'm actually kind of surprised frankie's even using this chainsaw it's probably the cheapest chainsaw you can find on amazon but it's got a nice sharp blade and this is pretty dry wood so as long as you're not doing any tough cutting this thing goes through it just fine there now get ready to stump over the burn pile whatever you got to get out okay [Music] so the stumps and rotted wood that we can't reuse get hauled over to the winter burn pile everything else is going to get reused and repurpose this siding [Music] what would you guys do with a stump like this would you try to reuse it and repurpose it or would you just get rid of it and burn it let me know in the comments below that's all we got for you on this video god bless hope you guys enjoyed the journey and go get them we'll catch you guys on another one
