5 FANTASTIC HACKS for Painters! Hand Masker Tips!

What happens here

When painting ceilings that have ceiling fans, it's crucial to protect the fan blades from overspray. Use a hand masker to dispense a length of 9-inch masking paper with 1-inch FrogTape (or other painter's tape designed for delicate surfaces to avoid lifting existing finishes). Position the paper over one fan blade, with the tape adhering to the top edge of the blade, and allow the paper to drape over the blade. Secure the paper on the opposite side with additional tape if needed. Repeat this process for all fan blades. You can rotate the fan blades manually to easily access each one. As an added service, consider cleaning the fan blades before masking, as they often accumulate dust.

Goal: Effectively mask ceiling fan blades with masking paper and FrogTape to protect them from paint overspray when painting ceilings, ensuring a clean finish.
