5 FANTASTIC HACKS for Painters! Hand Masker Tips!
What happens here
If you've swept up debris on the floor but can't find a dustpan, use a piece of 9-inch masking paper from a hand masker. Apply a strip of 1-inch tape along one edge of the paper and secure it to the floor. The paper will lay flat on the floor, allowing you to sweep debris directly onto it without a lip. Once the debris is on the paper, simply fold or roll up the paper to contain the mess for disposal. This method is highly effective for collecting fine dust and small particles.
Goal: This hack shows how to create a makeshift dustpan from a piece of masking paper and tape when a traditional dustpan is unavailable, for easy cleanup of debris.
