5 Bathroom Painting Tips. HOW TO PAINT A ROOM

What happens here

Once all tools are gathered and surfaces are masked and caulked, you're ready to paint. Open your paint can, load your roller with paint, and begin rolling a light 'skim coat' onto the walls. The goal is not full coverage, but a thin, even layer that dries quickly. A light coat should dry in approximately 30 minutes. To further accelerate drying, turn on any bathroom exhaust fans to remove moisture and increase the room's temperature to around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. This minimizes drying time between coats and helps prevent humidity from slowing down the paint's cure.

Goal: After all preparation, apply a light and thin first coat of paint to the walls, ensuring it dries quickly to allow for subsequent steps without delay.
