Test for Leaks and Finalize Installation

What happens here

Once the new angle valve is securely installed, slowly turn the main water supply back on. Allow water to flow through the new valve, then run water through the connected appliances (e.g., washing machine hoses) for a short period. Carefully inspect all connections for any signs of dripping or leakage. If any leaks are detected, gently tighten the compression nut a bit more (e.g., another quarter turn) until the leak stops. Avoid overtightening, as this can damage the ferrule or pipe. The new setup now provides individual shut-off control, greatly simplifying future maintenance for your laundry room appliances.
