In this video
Once the pipe has snapped, turn the T-handle counter-clockwise to loosen and retract the cutting wheels. Lift the entire tool straight up and out of the pipe. The severed section of the pipe should come out with the tool, leaving a clean, level cut on the pipe remaining in the floor.
