Using a pipe cutter, remove the damaged section of the copper pipe. Make two cuts, one on each side of the pinhole, to completely remove the compromised area. After cutting, use a deburring or reaming tool to clean the sharp edges from the inside and outside of the remaining pipe ends. This ensures a smooth surface for the new fittings.
