all right you're going to take your new flapper and you're going to lie it up and put it back on pegs there now again this is the OEM so this is the exact same model that was in here there are other models manufacturers that do these there's one called corky I like this one because it's rubberized in the back and you can just throw it back over corky ones are plastic and they kind of clip into place what you're going to do next is attach your chain to your flush lever and then you're just going to test to see how much length there is so in this case I'm pulling it and it's got too much slack so it's not going to open up so we just have to adjust the chain and this case the adjustment is really easy with this one you just move the little dots up this way and then we pull through as many as we need so I'll leave it up here while I play with the adjustment probably say not there's what we need so then you just pull this back down and we test again still seems like there's a lot of slack there so I'm going to readjust one more time okay check the slack all right so that's looking a little better there all right
