In this video
Install the provided brass check valves onto the hot and cold water shut-off valves. Then, connect the corresponding hot (red marked) and cold (blue marked) PEX supply lines from the new faucet to these check valves. Hand-tighten the connections first, then use a pair of adjustable wrenches or channel-lock pliers to give them a final snug tightening. Turn the water supply valves back on slowly. Before connecting the hoses to the solenoid, hold them over a jar and turn the faucet handle on to flush out any air or debris from the lines. Finally, check all new connections for any signs of leaks.
