Once all solar panels are securely mounted, proceed with wiring them. For a series connection, connect the positive MC4 connector of one panel to the negative MC4 connector of the next panel in the string. All MC4 connectors are designed for easy, secure clipping. Use wire management clips to neatly tuck and secure all cables underneath the panels, preventing them from hanging loose or being damaged. In this specific system, two separate series strings (each consisting of three panels) are created. The combined positive and negative conductors from these two series strings are then connected to branch connectors (Y-connectors) to form a parallel connection. These combined conductors will then run into the MPPT charge controllers located inside the shed.
