Once all roof attachments are in place, install the mounting rails. These aluminum rails run perpendicular to the rafters and are attached to the brackets previously installed. Use T-bolts or similar hardware to fasten the rails to the brackets. Ensure the rails are level and square across the entire array, as this will dictate the final alignment of the solar panels.
