Carefully place all the galvanized pipe components into the prepared TSP solution in the bucket. Ensure they are fully submerged. Allow the pipes to soak for a couple of minutes to give the TSP time to break down any remaining grease, oil, or manufacturing residues. After soaking, use a scrub pad to vigorously scrub all surfaces of each pipe piece, including the threaded areas and flanges. Be thorough to remove all contaminants.
