Step 4 · Install New Faucet Valves

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Install the new shower and tub faucet valves, following the manufacturer's instructions. Typically, this involves applying plumber's putty to the base, inserting the valve, and tightening the retaining nut. Repeat for both valves. Remember to replace any worn washers.
