Step 4 · Remove and Install the Valve and New Faucet

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Remove the old valve using an appropriate wrench to loosen the nuts holding it in place. Then, install the new valve, ensuring it is securely tightened. Install the new faucet following the manufacturer's instructions. Carefully reassemble all components, starting with the valve and then the escutcheon and handles.
