Step 4 · Plunger Technique

Ensure there's enough water in the sink to cover the plunger cup. Create a tight seal around the drain with the plunger. Plunge vigorously up and down for about 20-30 seconds. Remove the plunger quickly to break the seal. Repeat several times. If you have a double sink, block the other drain with a wet rag.
