Step 3 · Baking Soda and Vinegar

Pour about 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1/2 cup of white vinegar. The mixture will fizz. Cover the drain opening with a stopper or rag to direct the reaction downwards. Let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. Then, flush with hot tap water. Repeat if necessary.
