Step 6 · Test for Leaks and Restore Water Supply

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Slowly restore the main water supply. Carefully check all connections for leaks by turning on the spigot. If any leaks are present, tighten the connections and retest.
