Step 3 · Disconnect the Spigot's Supply Line

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Employ a wrench to carefully disconnect the supply line from the spigot. The supply line is the pipe connecting the spigot to the main water supply. Take care to avoid damaging the pipe.
