Step 3 · Remove the Old Shower Handle

This is the step people usually slow down on. Go finger-tight first, then a quarter turn. No rush — replay the clip whenever it helps.

Once the screw(s) are removed, gently pull the handle straight off the valve stem. If it’s stuck, a handle puller tool may help. Be careful not to force it.
