Step 7 · Inspect Condensate Drain Line for Clogs

Locate the condensate drain line originating from the indoor unit's evaporator coil. This is typically a PVC pipe. Follow it to its termination point (often a floor drain, pump, or outside). Look for any visible signs of clogs, algae buildup, or debris. You can try to clear minor clogs by gently snaking a stiff wire or using a wet/dry vacuum on the outlet.
