Step 8 · Install Baseboards and Trim

Cut baseboards and trim pieces to size using a miter saw for clean corner joints. Attach them to the wall (not the floor) using finishing nails or adhesive. Ensure the baseboards cover the expansion gaps adequately. Install quarter round or shoe molding if needed to cover larger gaps.
