Step 7 · Apply Topcoat (if applicable)

Some epoxy systems benefit from or require a clear topcoat, such as a polyurethane or polyaspartic, for added scratch resistance, UV stability, or gloss. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the curing time of the base epoxy before applying the topcoat. Mix and apply the topcoat using similar methods as the base epoxy (squeegee and roller), ensuring even coverage.
