Step 3 · Repair Cracks and Pits

Carefully examine the entire floor for any imperfections. Wider cracks may need to be widened slightly with a chisel or grinder to ensure the patching material can get a good grip. Mix the concrete patching compound or epoxy filler according to the manufacturer's directions and apply it to the damaged areas, smoothing it flush with the surrounding concrete surface. Allow repairs to cure completely as per the product instructions.
