Step 7 · Cure the Sealant
After the final coat has been applied, the sealant needs adequate time to cure fully. This curing process is essential for the sealant to achieve its maximum hardness and durability. The manufacturer's recommendations should be followed closely, but typically, it requires at least 24 to 48 hours of dry weather for light foot traffic and 72 to 96 hours (or longer in cooler conditions) before allowing vehicle traffic on the driveway. Ensure no rain is forecasted during the curing period.
