Step 6 · Test the Drain

Turn on the hot water tap and let it run into the drain for at least 5-10 minutes. Observe the drainage speed. If the water flows freely without backing up, the clog has likely been cleared. If it still drains slowly, you may need to repeat the snaking process or try a different method.
