Step 4 · Install the New Tub Faucet

This is the step most people slow down on. Take it one move at a time — there’s no rush, and you can rewind the clip as many times as you need.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installing your new faucet. This usually involves applying plumber's putty to the underside of the new faucet base, carefully inserting it into the tub opening, and tightening the mounting nuts from below. Ensure a secure and watertight seal.
