Willys Jeep Rescue...starter problems!! 30 years of grime!

What happens here

With the starter removed, it is subjected to a 'redneck bench test' using the Jeep's battery. The positive battery cable is connected to the starter's positive terminal, and the starter's casing is grounded to the battery's negative terminal. When the push button on the starter is depressed, the starter gear only moves slowly and weakly, confirming the initial diagnosis of a faulty starter. This visual and auditory test indicates poor electrical contact or internal component wear.

Goal: Confirm the functionality and diagnose issues with the removed starter motor.
