What happens here
For the front differential, locate the fill plug (17mm) at the top and the drain plug (10mm) underneath. First, loosen the fill plug. Then, place the oil drain pan underneath and remove the drain plug to allow the old fluid to drain out. While draining, clean the drain plug and its gasket. Once drained, reinsert and gently snug the drain plug. To refill, use a flexible tube attached to a Lucas Oil Synthetic SAE 75W-90 Gear Oil bottle (hypoid gear oil recommended). Insert the tube into the fill hole and squeeze the bottle until fluid starts to seep out of the fill hole. Reinsert the fill plug and gently snug it. Repeat the documentation process with a sharpie, noting the differential service, gear oil type, mileage, and hours.
Goal: Change the front differential fluid.
