Why Honda? The truth about Honda managing a farm or large property
What happens here
Locate the oil filter housing on the engine side. Use a socket to remove the bolts holding the oil filter cover. Be prepared for some oil to drip out once the cover is loosened. Carefully pull out the old oil filter and inspect the O-ring on the cover for any damage. Replace the old filter with a new Honda oil filter, ensuring the 'This Side Out' marking on the filter faces correctly (away from the spring). Reinstall the oil filter cover, ensuring the O-ring is properly seated, and tighten the bolts gently. Clean up any spilled oil with a rag.
Goal: Install a new engine oil filter.
