What Is Going On? Current Status on ALL The Builds! LSXcalade + LSA Monte Carlo "Ralph" + Uncle Rob!

What happens here

The Monte Carlo project has been stalled since January due to transmission issues. After replacing the failed 6L80 transmission with a Turbo 400 and an incorrect shorter yoke, the tailshaft exploded during a test drive. The current plan is to convert to a manual transmission, specifically a T56 or TKX, but these parts are on backorder. The owner is contemplating installing another 6L80 with a correct driveshaft temporarily to get the car running sooner, rather than waiting months for the manual transmission components. The car is also planned for boom tube exhaust installation (Super Talladega Boom Tubes from Dr. Gas) and a pro-touring setup, not drag racing. An LED taillight conversion previously installed failed due to an unknown issue (a 'fried' board), and the owner suspects a wiring harness short.

Goal: Install manual transmission and resolve LED taillight failure for a pro-touring build.

it's gonna be good monte carlo this one hurts a lot what we were doing here i don't know if you can hear but the guys over there that's a separate business they're making all kinds of noise it it's really hard to film when they're doing stuff because sometimes they play music really loud and i can't film over copyright so it's it hinders the building of things greatly because i want to film stuff while i'm building what does bulls have a seat in here oh oh monte carlo call it ralph has been down since january why well i put another six led in it and i do it to test drive it and i had a turbo 400 yoke on it not the six speed one which is longer the yoke is longer it has like a pilot bushing inside the tail shaft i guess in the shorter 400 yoke didn't fully engage in that or something if i had to guess and the tail shaft just exploded blew up everywhere that was big mess major disappointment however the reason it is still sitting is because the new transmission setup has been on back order supposed to be putting a t56 or tkx in this thing to you know do a six-speed conversion five or six speed conversion manual transmission that's what i want here they're all back ordered still uh i was told you know story of everyone's life these days everything's on back order but oh yeah it'll be three to four weeks well it's been several months nothing is happening and i'm thinking once uncle rob his fuel system swaps and out there ripping um i'll throw another 6l80 in here and get a drive shaft made from the same place that made the one from uncle rob so at least this car will will work and do stuff in the meantime until we can do the tramx swap in it what do you guys think you think i should get it running with the auto to get it back on the road or focus on the progression of uncle rob beyond the fuel system leave a comment let me know i really value your input on this stuff because after all we do it for you for your knowledge and entertainment and involvement obviously this is all stuff i want to do however the order in which it gets done can be dictated by you guys if you speak up that's what i want to hear if you've never seen this car before it's got a 6.2 liter lsa in it it's actually the original motor from the escalade i put it in here after i built the 427 for that this blower all the way down everything is untouched how it came out of the escalade this setup ran 1188 and 117 in the escalate on drag week in 2016. that's 5 600 pounds this is 37 ish 100 pounds…
