We Try to Break A dump trailer SEVERE OVERLOAD!
What happens here
Drive the loaded telescopic hoist trailer onto a truck scale. Disconnect the gooseneck hitch from the truck's bed to allow the scale to measure only the trailer's weight. Record the total weight displayed on the scale. Subtract the empty weight of the trailer (approximately 5,000 lbs, similar to the scissor lift) to determine the actual load capacity of the telescopic hoist system. The scale reads 47,120 lbs, meaning the actual load lifted was approximately 42,000 lbs. This is significantly higher than the previous two systems.
Goal: Quantify the maximum load the telescopic hoist can lift
