Install Skylift Brackets and Seal Roof

What happens here

Carefully position each Skylift bracket through the cut opening in the roof until its base rests securely on the house's interior wall plate. Fasten the bracket firmly to the wall plate using appropriate structural screws or lag bolts. Once the bracket is structurally secured, fasten the base plate of the bracket to the roof sheathing and flashing. Apply generous amounts of roofing cement around the base of the bracket and strategically replace/install shingles to create a robust, watertight seal. The goal is to ensure no water can penetrate the roof around the new penetration. Periodically check the brackets for stability and alignment.

Goal: Secure the Skylift brackets into the prepared roof openings, fastening them to the house's wall plate, and then re-seal the roof around the installed brackets to ensure watertightness.
